What's a MadMonger?

MadMonger = Madison Area Perl Monger

We are a bunch of people who like and use Perl in our work, at school, or for our own personal projects. We get together to talk about this commonality and our projects.

We are a part of the world-wide Perl Mongers. But we have our own technical and social meetings, as well as our own mailing list. 

Can I Join?

Anybody can join the MadMongers, and we'd be glad to have you. Add yourself to the people page, join our Linked In group, join the mailing list, and attend our meetings whenever you can. That's really all it takes to become a member. Oh, and when you first join the mailing list, send us a message to introduce yourself.

One more thing. Lots of people ask us what it costs to be a member of MadMongers. The answer is nothing! It's free. No membership dues. No meeting fees.  Therefore, there's no reason for you not to join up and get involved!

Why Do I Keep Hearing About Cards?

You'll have to come to the meetings to find out. It's sort of an insider thing. We can tell you this much though. Seek out the cards. When you see the cards you'll see us.

Can I Use Your Logo?

You may use our logo free of charge and without specific written permission provided it is used to promote the Madison Area Perl Mongers, the Perl community, or Perl Mongers. All other uses require specific written permission.

How'd You Create This Site?

This site is created with WebGUI. Being Perl Mongers, we had to use a web app that is pure Perl. It's fast, flexible, free and easy to use. You should check it out.
