Internet Engineer (LAMP)

We have exciting opportunities for LAMP Engineers at a variety of levels. Requirements for each position are listed in the qualifications section. We will assess applicants based on skills set and years of relevant technology experience.

-Designing, implementing, and supporting software solutions using current technologies such as MySQL, Apache, PHP and Perl in a Linux and Solaris based environment.
-Participating in the Customer-Facing Product Lifecycle and involvement in the rollout of new broadband products and services while meeting the demands of the Internet Market.
-Conducting research and making recommendations on products, tools, services, technologies, and standards.
-Creating solutions that are always available and redundant with high performance requirements.
-Using a combination of Open Source and Commercial solutions to solve today's problems, with a vision towards the future.

-Knowledge of the following infrastructure systems: Java, J2EE, C, C++, PERL, PHP, Shell Scripting Languages, UNIX, Solaris, Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, and other web based applications.
-Knowledge of database systems such as Oracle, MySQL, BerkleyDB, and Postgres.
-Familiar with the Internet and networking concepts underlying the above systems (UNIX, SMTP, POP, DNS, etc)
-General knowledge of the following categories of network systems: Multiprocessing, Threading, Distributed systems, Load Balancing and High Availability.
