WebGUI/Perl Developer Position

You will be responsible for developing custom applications and new features for WebGUI per client specifications. This frequently also involves integrating WebGUI and/or your custom applications with other systems. You will work with a team of other development professionals through the entire development life cycle from specifications to architecture to implementation to maintenance.

Compensation
This position pays between $40,000 and $50,000 per year to start depending upon experience. In addition, we provide full medical overage, profit sharing, flexible paid time off, high end laptops, and telecommuting.

In addition, the skills we're looking for are:

• Solid working knowledge and experience with Perl.
• A good working knowledge of Javascript and AJAX.
• A good working knowledge of SQL.
• Previous experience with web development

Additional Requirements
These things will also be required for all successful applicants.

• US Citizenship. Because we work on many government projects with sensitive information, you must be a US Citizen, and able to pass Federal security clearance.
• Travel. Though infrequent, in some instances we may need you to travel to a client's site to provide training and support. You need to be willing to take all expenses paid trips to locations around the country and around the world from time to time.
• Public Speaking. We hold a conference every year, and give talks at other conventions, conferences, and user group meetings. You will be required to present at these venues from time to time.

• Prior experience with WebGUI.
• You'll get a plus next to your name if you're a Linux geek.
• Prior experience with WebGUI's prerequisite systems like Apache, MySQL, and lots of different operating systems.
