In our relatively new tradition of announcing modules as they come out, I've got some new additions to report.
I just released Dist::Zilla::Plugin::MetaNoIndex, which is a plugin for Dist::Zilla (that I talked about 2 meetings ago). This plugin lets you control the "no_index" attribute in META.yml, which we also talked about at that same meeting. So now I don't need to exclude the author.t folder from the distribution, I can just exclude it from indexing. Thanks to those of you in attendance who discussed this with me.
I also updated JSON::RPC::Dispatcher today. It now lets you add logging to your applications using Log::Any.
And on Tuesday I updated SimpleDB::Class, the ORM for Amazon SimpleDB. It now uses Moose for all of it's attributes (before I used Sub::Name). It uses MooseX::Types for all of its type management and coercion. And I added support for pagination to result sets, an FAQ, new MediumStr data type, domain prefixes, support for the new ConsistentRead option Amazon released last week, and some performance improvements.
You can check them all out here: http://search.cpan.org/~rizen/
Do let me know if anybody has any questions. Thanks for reading. See you in a couple weeks at the Brass Ring.
