The mac that we give our new employees (and old employees when it's time to upgrade) is the 17" macbook pro:I'm looking to finally upgrade / buy a new computer, and I would like to know what people recommend. I would also like to know what the baseline Mac system at Plain Black
The only change we make from the baseline version is that we go for the i7 processor rather than the standard i5.
So that comes down to a 15" screen with a 2.66ghz i7 processor with 4GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive.
The 17" is too big to be practical. And the 13" is nice, but why not get the extra screen size and better processor?
