Suddenly seeing lots of Google Dart noise:
http://www.dartlang.org/
Interesting to see a Perl Blog
http://blogs.perl.org/users/rafael_garcia-suarez/2011/10/why-dart-is-not-the-language-of-the-future.html
though negative in general, though not so much as:
http://colinm.org/language_checklist.html
Unrelated but hey, we're all geeks here, though at 45 years ...
http://popwatch.ew.com/2011/10/10/star-trek-45-years-45-reasons/
some of you may not ... I'm not going to say that.
Hey, the crowdsource process - did those lists end up a google doc or
something wiki-ish so we can see what still needs to be found?

everyone is always try'n to re-invent the wheel..
Some languages are good for some things, and others are better for others. The
problem is that everyone wants to CONTROL the technology, so open source code is
always tossed aside.. Tesla came up with a way to offer FREE energy, and the
banker who funded him, (J.P. Morgan) said.. "Where do we put the meter?"...
Thats what's wrong with this world and that's why REAL programmers are either
over looked or stuck in a box working for Microsoft! -E
