The Forward Technology Festival is less than two weeks away. This year's festival now has 15 networking events and conferences taking place over 11 days. Check out www.ftf2012.com for the complete list of events.
1. The MetaMeetup at Sector67 on Friday, August 17 is trying to pull together people from as many different tech and startup groups as possible. It would be great to see a bunch of Mad Mongers there. The event is free; visit http://sector67meetup.eventbrite.com to register so that we'll be sure to have enough food and beer for everyone.
2. The Forward Technology Conference on Wednesday, August 22 at Memorial Union is a conference that's organized by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs. Topics range from raising your first round of outside capital to customer acquisition.
