Thanks for getting back to me!  I really appreciate your help!  I wish the team could work remotely on this project, but the client is requiring the consultants to be on-site.  They do have development teams in Florida and Utah so there is flexibility to work out of either location.  We can get great rates for some serious Perl developers, so please let me know if anyone is interested.  Here are the job descriptions..

Position Title: Perl Developers (3 POSITIONS)
Location: either Florida or Utah
Engagement: 6mos contract with possible extension and/or full time conversion

Core skills:
* 4-6 years of experience in Perl development in a web environment on Unix systems (FreeBSD or Linux)
* Strong understanding of Internet technologies including HTTP, XML, XML-RPC, REST, XSLT, JavaScript and HTML
* Strong knowledge of SQL and the ability to work with mySQL and Oracle
* Good written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
* A passion for the technology tempered by a level-headed approach to problem solving
* Operate within flexible hours, especially during software distribution phases
* Ability to work comfortably and efficiently in a mixed MS-Windows and Unix environment
* Development and/or System Administration experience in a hosting oriented company ideal but not required.
* Demonstrated competence in programming-related security concepts and best practices.
* Diagnostic/trouble-shooting skills with the ability to quickly learn and understand new technical concepts.

Position One: Generalist
This position will be used on a variety of internal projects and systems.
* All above core skills

Position Two: DNR-DNS Focused
This position will assist in enhancing our core DNS/DNR services from both an API and application user-interface perspective.

* All above core skills
* Experience working with the Perl Catalyst development framework
* Experience working with API's (XML-RPC and REST)
* Knowledge of how domain name registration works, zone records, domain management and name servers.

Position Three: API Focused
This position will be involved in creating the next generation API's used by Verio customers.
* All above core skills
* Experience working with the Perl Catalyst development framework
* Experience working with API's (XML-RPC and REST)
* Experience writing API's desired
