Bio: I work for Avid Technology, in their Broadcast division doing TV news automation. I got my PhD in Astronomy from UW. In my free time, I work on Perl::Critic and several other hobby projects. My first Perl program was a relativistic time dilation calculator for a sci-fi role-playing game I was running -- yes, I am a geek.
